Mizzou gets its opponents for the SEC/ACC challenge

ESPN released the matchups for both the men's and women's SEC/ACC Challenge.

Mizzou's men will be hosting Pittsburg on the opening day of the challenge, with the women set to travel to Florida State on Dec. 3, for their contest.

This is the second time that head coach Dennis Gates' squad will face the Panthers after the two sides met in the inaugural edition of the challenge back in 2023, with the Tigers coming away with a 71-64 win. They're set to face off on Dec. 1, with this being the first confirmed home game of the season for Mizzou.

The Tigers now have five neutral-site clashes on the schedule for the 2026-27 season, as Mizzou will also face Marquette at the United Center in Chicago on Nov. 15, Illinois at Enterprise Center before Christmas, Saint Louis at the Enterprise Center on Nov. 6, and Nebraska at the T-Mobile Center on Dec. 12.

On the women's side of things, they'll head to Tallahasee to face a Florida State squad that finished with a 10-21 record in the 2025-26 season. This will be the sixth time the Tigers and Seminoles have met on the hardwood, with Florida state holding a 3-2 edge head-to-head.

This is the second known game on the women's schedule, as the will be facing Kansas State in a neutral site game in Kansas City on Nov. 22.
