Chris McClellan jumps into the third round as the third Tiger drafted

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou football now has three names in the 2026 NFL rookie class.

Defensive tackle Chris McClellan was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 109th pick in the 2026 draft.

The senior ended his 2025 campaign with the fifth most tackles on the team with 48, and the third most sacks with six. His best performance of the season came against Arkansas, where he recorded two sacks in the Boarder line rivalry.

The Packers were in the bottom half of the league in total sacks last season, but was just outside the top-10 in the NFL in both total yards allowed and yards allowed per game.

He joins Zion Young and Josiah Trotter as the only Tigers to be taken in the first two days of the draft so far.
