Mizzou made its first move of the college basketball transfer window.

Former Michigan guard McKenzie Mathurin is the latest athlete to join the Tigers for 2027. The rising sophomore is set to join head coach Kellie Harper here in Columbia.

During her freshman year in Ann Arbor, Mathurin made 25 appearances for the Wolverines and had three outings with 10 or more points. Over the season, she averaged 3.5 points in just under nine minutes per game.

The Broken Arrow native was a four-star recruit out of high school, and a 39th ranked player in the country according to ESPN. She won High School Player of the Year twice for Oklahoma, and lead Broken Arrow to the 2025 6A state championship game. She is also the lone player to surpass 2,000 points for her high school career.
