COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz has landed one of the state of Missouri's biggest 2027 prospects.

On Tuesday afternoon, four-star Francis Howell Central tight end Jack Brown announced that he is Columbia bound. The St. Charles, Missouri native chose the Tigers over offers from Kansas State, Illinois, Arizona State and a slew of other programs.

Brown is, by far, the biggest pickup for Coach Drinkwitz the Class of 2027, which now has four members. Brown is the No. 118 overall player in the nation and the No. 6 tight end. He's also considered the No. 1 player in the state of Missouri, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect is the third offensive player and first from the state of Missouri to join Drinkwitz's 2027 group. You can find a full look at the commitments in that class below (stars according to 247Sports).

  • Three-star quarterback Braylen Warren - Omaha, Nebraska
  • Three-star safety Jabarri Lofton - East St. Louis, Illinois
  • Three-star offensive tackle Lual Aleu - Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Four-star tight end Jack Brown - St. Charles, Missouri
