On Wednesday morning, Mizzou Athletics announced that it has received a $3 million donation from a pair of longtime supporters.

The gift came courtesy of Tiger alums Paul and Lynn Ann Vogel and will go towards Mizzou's revenue sharing efforts, recruiting and other opportunities, in addition to creating a new donor lounge inside of MIzzou Arena.

“We believe deeply in Mizzou and the role athletics plays in bringing people together and driving institutional success,” the Vogels said in a press release. “We believe in [Mizzou Athletic Director Laird Veatch], Coach Drinkwitz and Coach Gates’ leadership, and it’s an honor to help build something that will benefit generations of student-athletes across all sports and inspire pride across our state.”

The $3 million pledge comes after MU recored a record-breaking year of donations, in 2025. Thanks to three gifts, all to support the $250 million north end zone renovations at Faurot Field, Mizzou Athletics brought in a record-breaking number in donations for the fiscal year: $140 million, in total.

Over the past two fiscal years, in 2025 and 2024, Mizzou has tallied 13 seven-figures gifts and 84 six-figures gifts, since July 1, 2024.

“This extraordinary gift from Paul and Lynn Ann reflects their deep belief in the power of intercollegiate athletics to elevate our University,” said Mizzou Athletic Director Laird Veatch said in a press release. “The Vogels have been visionary partners for many years, and their generosity accelerates our momentum at a time of tremendous opportunity for Mizzou Athletics. We look forward to others following the Vogel’s example as we continue to grow and maximize our resources to win championships.”
