Mizzou football adds Florida receiver from the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz added his third receiver from the transfer portal.

The latest addition to the Tigers' 2026 roster is former Florida wide out Naeshaun Montgomery. The true freshman was ranked as a four-star prospect out of high school. He appeared in just four games for the Gators, netting three catches for 26 yards, on an average of 8.7 yards per catch. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.

Montgomery is the third reciever to come to Columbia during this portal window, joining Cincinnati transfer Caleb Goodie and former Auburn Tiger Horatio Fields.
