Former four-star running back Marquise Davis plans to enter the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A third Tiger has declared his intention to leave the university following the season.

True Freshman Marquise Davis announced on Wednesday that he will be entering the transfer portal after the 2025 season. He joins fellow running back Brendon Haygood and wide receiver James Madison as players who plan to enter the portal.

Davis appeared in three games during the season and totaled 200 yards and found the end zone twice on just 34 attempts.

Out of high school, he was a four-star prospect and the 13th-ranked running back in the country according to On3 Sports.
