Mizzou hoops falls to Kansas in Border Showdown

Postgame news conference after Kansas win over Mizzou

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Tigers' men's basketball team lost to the Jayhawks in Kansas City, dropping to 8-2 on the season.

Despite a 21-point effort from Mark Mitchell, Mizzou lost to Kansas 80-60 at the T-Mobile Center on Sunday.

Offensively, MU struggled, shooting only 34 percent from the field. Along with his 20 point performance, Mitchell also tied for the team lead rebounds with 7. Jacob Crews was the only other Tiger to reach double digits finishing with 11 points and going 3-7 from three.
