COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team is now a Top-20 team in all the nation, following a nine-point win over South Carolina on Saturday night.

The Tigers grabbed a gritty SEC-opening win over the Gamecocks to jump up three spots in the latest AP Poll, to No. 20. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company are one of 10 conference teams that landed in the Top-25. You can find a full look at that list below.

MU will take a brief break from Southeastern Conference play to face UMass in the Tigers' non-conference finale on Saturday. After that, a bye and week and then a matchup against No. 17 Alabama is on the books.
