Mizzou football moves up two spots in latest AP Poll

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
After trouncing the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at Faurot Field on Saturday, the Mizzou football team jumped up two spots in the latest AP Poll, to No. 23 in the nation.
It is the second-straight week that the Tigers will head into a game with a ranking, after starting the season unranked.
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company are one of 11 Southeastern Conference teams who found themselves among the top teams in the nation, on Sunday afternoon. You can find a full list of the AP Top-25 below.

South Carolina, which is Mizzou's next opponent at Memorial Stadium, dropped out of the AP Poll in Week 4, after getting dominated by Vanderbilt in a 24-point loss over the weekend.
The Tigers and the Gamecocks will kickoff at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium with the coveted Mayor's Cup on the line, between Columbia East and Columbia West. You can watch that game on ESPN.
