COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Tolton two-sport phenom Cam Lee has been drafted to the MLB. On Monday, the outfielder was taken in the ninth round by the Baltimore Orioles. He was the No. 274 overall selection.

He spent one year at Mineral Area Junior College, in Park Hills, Missouri. In that one season, he hit .444 with a 1.298 OPS, 13 home runs and 46 RBIs. Lee was named the Region 16 Player of the Year, as a result.

Before college, the Columbia native shined in both football and baseball for the Trailblazers. He helped lead Tolton to its first-ever baseball state championship in the 2022 season.
