Mizzou’s Kellie Harper gains second commitment in 2026 recruiting class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball coach Kellie Harper is continuing to build up her first recruiting class as the leader of the Tigers.

On Thursday, Coach Harper locked down a commitment from one of the best prospects in the state of Iowa, as 6-foot-3 forward Ellie Muller pledged to MU's class of 2026. She picked the Tigers over offers from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota and Creighton.

According to Prepgirlshoops, Muller is the No. 5 player in all of Iowa and the top-ranked prospect at her position.

She helped lead Dowling Catholic High School to the state championship game in her junior season. In state semifinal action, she recorded a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 boards. As a result of that performance, she was named to the all-tournament team. She still has one more season left to play for the Maroons, but has already broken the program's all-time rebounding record.

Muller joins fellow 6-foot-3 forward Cecilie Brandimore in Coach Harper's 2026 class. They are the first pair of high school recruits to pledge to Harper in her Mizzou era.
