Mizzou grabs a commitment from former UCLA guard

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou men's basketball coach Dennis Gates made his second addition out of the transfer portal, on Monday morning, as former UCLA guard Sebastian Mack committed to the Tigers.
The sophomore made it official by sharing an announcement on his Instagram page. He will join former Tolton star Jevon Porter (Loyola Marymount) and former Blair Oaks standout Luke Northweather (Oklahoma) in Coach Gates' transfer class for the 2025-26 season. Mack will have two years of eligibility to use.
The Chicago native spent two seasons with the Bruins, averaging 9.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the 2024-25 campaign. As a true freshman, he made a real impact at UCLA, as he started in 30 games and averaged about 12 points per game. However, he did see his playing time dip a bit in his sophomore year. This past season, the 6-foot-3 guard only got one starting nod in 34 total games.
As of now, Coach Gates has filled 13 out of his 15 roster spots. That could change if any player decides to transfer out, but you can find a full look at the roster, as of April 7, below.
