Mizzou gymnastics punches ticket to fourth-ever NCAA Championship Semifinal

SEATTLE, Wash. (KMIZ)
For just the fourth time in program history, Mizzou gymnastics is moving onto the NCAA Championship Semifinal, following a top-two finish in Sunday's NCAA Regional Final in Seattle, Washington.
Head coach Shannon Welker and company finished just one spot behind Oklahoma with a team score of 197.425, knocking both Auburn and Arizona out of the postseason. It came down to the wire, separated from Auburn by just a tenth of a point, but another clutch performance from MU star Helen Hu on the beam cemented the trip to Forth Worth for NCAA Semifinal action.
The Tigers did not have an individual champion in any event, but senior Amari Celestine finished in fourth place in all-around scoring.
