Mizzou ends regular season at No. 19 in College Football Playoff rankings
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
With a 9-3 record in hand, the Mizzou football team finished the regular season at No. 19 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Ever since the first CFP ranking came out on Week 10, the Tigers have made a steady climb up, beginning at No. 24 and ending up five spots higher at No. 19.
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company rounded out the regular season with one, last conference win over rival Arkansas, on Saturday, to improve to 5-3 in SEC action in 2024. MU lost three games in 2024, but all of them came in tough SEC environments: at Texas A&M, at Alabama and at South Carolina.
Mizzou did have its conference road struggles this season, but finished the regular season with the team's first SEC road win of thee year in a dominant 39-20 victory at Mississippi State.
