RECAP: Mizzou seniors reflect on career and legacy after final home win

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

For the eighth time in nine seasons, the Battle Line Trophy will reside in Columbia, Missouri for another season, after Mizzou's 28-21 win over rival Arkansas.

However, Saturday's game at a snow-covered Faurot Field was about a whole lot more than just a trophy or a rivalry. It was about a group of 27 seniors.

"The best leave a legacy," head coach Eli Drinkwitz said. "It means something to play football and be committed to them. There's something about playing for each other and playing for Missouri that special to these guys."

You can watch ABC 17 Sports Director Nathalie Jones' full recap from Saturday's season-finale at Faurot Field on ABC 17 SportsZone at 9:30 on Fox 22 and 10:30 on ABC 17.
