Mizzou football breaks back into AP Top-25

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team cruised to a 19-point win over Mississippi State, on Saturday, and with that win came a ranking in the latest AP Top-25. The Tigers come in at No. 24 in the nation, after falling out of the rankings the week prior.

It's the second-straight time that head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company have fallen out of the rankings one week and gotten back in the very next.

The No. 24 ranking comes after MU handled business in the win in Starkville. Multiple Tigers found the end zone on both the offensive and defensive side. It was a performance that included a hat trick (three touchdowns) from running back Marcus Carroll.

The win marked Mizzou's first SEC road win of the 2024 season.

Drinkwitz and his team are one of eight Southeastern Conference teams included in the Top-25. You can find the full list of rankings below.
