Mizzou volleyball earns its first national ranking of the 2024 season
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou volleyball team finally received its first long-awaited and well-deserved national ranking of the season, on Monday. Head coach Dawn Sullivan and company are the No. 25 team in the land in the weekly AVCA rankings.
The ranking comes after MU has been on an absolute heater over the last few weeks. Sullivan and her team have won nine-straight matches, eight of which were against SEC foes. The winning streak is the program's longest since 2016 and their longest conference win streak since 2013.
The Tigers are 18-5 overall in 2024 and 9-2 in conference action. Those win totals match Mizzou's conference and overall records from the Sullivan's first season, in 2023.
