Mizzou quarterback makes prestigious watchlist as fall camp continues

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

As the Mizzou football team is more than halfway through fall camp, the preseason recognition continues to pour in. On Thursday, quarterback Brady Cook was named to the preseason watchlist for the Davey O'Brien Award.

It's a prestigious honor given to the best quarterback in college football, each year.

The Tigers have, however, made it clear they are blocking out the noise, both positive and negative, ahead of the 2024 campaign. Instead, the team is focused on preparation for the Aug. 29 season opener against Murray State.

Mizzou completed its ninth practice of fall camp, on Thursday. You can watch extended highlights of that practice in the video player below.
