Obviously, the playbook and installs will come before the season kicks off in August, but, as head coach Eli Drinkwitz said at the start of practices, spring ball is all about identifying your weaknesses and finding a way to improve upon them.

On Wednesday evening, players caught up with the media following the fifth practice of spring ball. Multiple guys talked about the areas they most hope to improve in the last week of camp. You can watch those interviews in the video players below.

"For me, the next step is just working on being a team player, getting more involved with the team," Marquis Johnson said on Wednesday. "Just doing more with the team, like just little things, doing more things after practice, just like little things in between the practices like dapping our players up, transferring energy, stuff like that."

These practices are all leading up to Mizzou Football's Black and Gold Spring Game on Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Faurot Field.
