RECAP: 12 state titles and some history for Mid-Missouri wrestling

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

More than 200 Mid-Missouri wrestlers took center stage at Mizzou Arena over the weekend, as another year of the MSHSAA State Wrestling Championships are in the books. Out of those 200 athletes, 12 local wrestlers took home state championships.

In addition to those state titles, one local team lifted up a trophy for the first time in more than eight decades.
