Frank and Slaughter lift Mizzou to second-straight SEC win
COLUMBIA, MO. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou women's basketball team won it second-straight conference game, on Thursday, with a 69-57 win over Georgia. With the victory, MU improved to 11-7 on the season and 2-3 in SEC play.

Fifth year forward Hayley Frank and freshman guard Grace Slaughter led the scoring charge for the Tigers. Frank got off to a hot start in the first half, scoring 15 of her 24 total points, marking her fifth 20-point outing of the season. Slaughter finished the game with 16 points going 3-for-3 from 3-point range.
The Tigers held the Lady Bulldogs to just 33 percent shooting from the field. Pingeton's group also capitalized on that good defense, scoring 15 points off of Georgia's 13 turnovers.

Up next - Mizzou will look to extend the winning streak to three games with a road trip to Lexington. Pingeton and company will meet the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.
