Contract details: Mizzou offensive coordinator earns more than $300,000 raise
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou offensive coordinator Kirby Moore couldn't have written a better script for his first season in Columbia. In 2023, the Tigers not only scored eight more points per game than the season before, but went on to win a New Year's Six bowl game. As a result, Moore received a contract extension from the university, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
Through details obtained in an open records request, Moore is set for a $350,000 raise in 2024. Meaning, he will be making $1.2 million in his second season as the offensive coordinator in Columbia. He will also receive a check for $30,000 as a signing bonus on Jan. 31, 2024.
In 2025, Moore's salary will jump up, once again. Mizzou will pay him $1.3 million for his services.
