Mizzou wide receiver enters the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Athletics confirmed, on Tuesday, that Tiger wide receiver Chance Luper has entered the transfer portal. Luper, the son of current runnings backs coach Curtis Luper, will have a couple years of eligibility left to use at another school.

The Texas-native and former three-star recruit has not seen the field since 2021. He was sidelined all of 2022 due to a medical scare, involving a blood clot in his lungs. He was seen at spring camp with the Tigers, ahead of the 2023 season, however, never made a return.

In 2021, Luper appeared in eight games and started in four. He caught 21 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown, with a season-high six receptions coming against Texas A&M.
