St. Louis Battlehawks will be part of new United Football League

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

The St. Louis Battlehawks made the cut of eight teams that will be featured in the new United Football League (UFL), which is a merger between the XFL and USFL.

The Battlehawks and the seven other teams included will be split into two conferences. You can see the conference split below.

XFL CONFERENCE

  • Arlington Renegades
  • D.C. Defenders
  • San Antonio Brahmas
  • St. Louis Battlehawks

USFL CONFERENCE

  • Birmingham Stallions
  • Houston Roughnecks
  • Memphis Showboats
  • Michigan Panthers

The Battlehawks led the XFL in attendance through the 2023 season, averaging more than 30,000 fans per game at the Dome at America's Center in downtown St. Louis.

The team also announced that it will keep its head coach from the 2023 season. Anthony Becht will lead the team to battle on March 30, when league plays kicks off.
