Four Mizzou players tabbed as AP All-Americans
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Four Mizzou football players made AP All-American teams, on Monday. Running back Cody Schrader is the lone Tiger featured on the first-team All-American list.

- First team - running back Cody Schrader
- Second team - defensive back Kris Abrams-Draine and wide receiver Luther Burden
- Third team - offensive lineman Javon Foster
Schrader, in his sixth year of college football, leads the nation at 124.9 rushing yards per game. He will also enter No. 9 Mizzou's Cotton Bowl meeting against No. 7 Ohio State just 105 yards shy of the MU single-season rushing record, which was set by former Tiger star Tyler Badie in 2021.
Burden ranked third in the SEC in receiving yards, in 2023, with 1,197 on the year. He led Mizzou in receiving in his sophomore season by a large margin, while also tallying eight touchdowns. Burden averages about 14 yards per catch.
He is joined on the second team by Abrams-Draine, who led the Tiger charge in takeaways with four interceptions in his final season in Columbia. The DB also added on a team-high 11 pass break ups and 46 total tackles, which ranks fifth on the team.
Last, but certainly not least, Foster rounded out the group with a third-team nod. The Michigan-native had himself a year in his final go-around in the black and gold. In 2023, he earned an SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honor, first-team All-SEC honors, appeared on the senior bowl watch list and was a part of an o-line that made the Joe Moore Award watch list, honoring the most outstanding offensive lines in the nation.
He started in all 12 games at left tackle and led a unit that allowed just an average of 1.67 sacks per game. MU has also rushed for more than 200 yards and topped the 500-yard mark for total offensse in five games this season, ranking 25th in the nation for total offense.
Mizzou also had three Tigers make the Football Writers Association of America All-America Team. You can find those names in the list below.
