One Mizzou player earns SEC weekly honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou defensive end Darius Robinson was named the SEC's Defensive Lineman of the Week, on Monday, after registering one tackle for loss and a sack in the dominate win over Tennessee.

Robinson is now up to six-straight weeks with a sack. He and the defense limited the Volunteers to just 83 rushing yards and one touchdown in a 29-point win.

Robinson is the only Tiger player to earn conference honors, despite a historic performance from running back Cody Schrader. The St. Louis-native became the only player in SEC history to tally 200 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same games, as he ended up with 321 all-purpose yards, on Saturday.

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels won the SEC Offensive Player of the Week award, instead. Daniels broke the SEC record for total offense in a single game, recording 606 total yards and five total touchdowns against Florida.

Up next - Mizzou will host Florida at Faurot Field for senior night. Kick off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
