Mizzou volleyball earns gritty win over Texas A&M

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou volleyball team won its eighth SEC match of the season with a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M at the Hearnes Center, on Friday.

The win extended the home winning streak to three straight and claimed the season sweep over the Aggies.

Outside hitter Jordan Illiff, once again, led the charge for the Tigers. The reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Week tallied 18 kills, along with nine digs, three aces and a pair of blocks. It's her ninth match with at least 15 kills and her 11th straight with double-digit kills.

Janet DeMarrais also had a good night. She extended her double-digit kill streak to 15 matches with 10 kills and 10 digs in the win.

Up next - head coach Dawn Sullivan and company will host No. 24 Auburn at the Hearnes Center on Sunday, Nov. 12. First serve is at 3 p.m.
