Columbia College volleyball cruises to AMC quarterfinal win

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College volleyball team is headed to the AMC Tournament semifinals, after a quarterfinal win over Harris-Stowe State University, on Tuesday. The No. 15 Cougars swept the Hornets, 3-0.

Helias alum Ellie Rockers was second on the team in kills, with 10 on the night. Sophomore Allana Capella had the team-high 13 kills in the win.

Next up - Columbia College will travel to St. Louis to meet Stephen's College in the semifinals. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
