Mizzou releases injury report for game against No. 15 Kansas State
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou football team had two notable names listed as questionable in the week three injury report, which was released on Thursday night.
Both wide receiver Mekhi Miller and linebacker Chad Bailey are questionable to play against No. 15 Kansas State on Saturday.
Bailey was no surprise, as he has been recovering from surgery on a soft tissue injury since the start of the season. The recovery time was supposed to be 21 days, but head coach Eli Drinkwitz said they have been running ahead of schedule, so he could see snaps against the Wildcats. Bailey did suit up for MU's week two win against Middle Tennessee.
It is Miller's first time on the injury report in 2023. When the weekly report comes out, the team does not go into detail about why players are listed as questionable and/or out. There is no word yet on when or how Miller may have sustained an injury.
The full injury report is listed below.
- Questionable: linebacker Chad Bailey, wide receiver Mekhi Miller and wide receiver Daniel Blood
- Out: running back Michael Cox, wide receiver Peanut Houston and defensive back Shamar McNeil
Mizzou will kick off against No. 15 Kansas State at 11 a.m. on Saturday. It is the first sellout game at Faurot Field since 2019.
