One position battle head coach Eli Drinkwitz said he was particularly happy with, on Saturday, was on the offensive line. He said in the first week under first-year o-line coach Brandon Jones, MU has made some strides. However, he did reiterate that his team is just one week into fall camp and there's a lot of work to be done.

As for the battle for the title of QB1, rising sophomore Sam Horn was one of the players of the day, following Saturday's practice. That meant that, on Sunday, he got to help lead the team in stretches.

Drinkwitz said each quarterback has had his good and bad plays and days through the first week of training.
