Former Mizzou guard signs overseas, professional contract

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou hoops standout DeAndre Gholston is headed to Europe. The guard signed a contract with the OSE Lions in Hungary, on Saturday.

Gholston is now the third member of the 2022-23 team to make it pro. He is joining Kobe Brown and D'Moi Hodge, who are participating in NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas.

Gholston spent one season in Columbia, as he followed head coach Dennis Gates from Cleveland State. However, he made that one year a memorable one. He hit game-winners against both UCF and Tennessee and hit double-digit scoring in 24 out of 35 games in his final collegiate season.
