Four-star Missouri native joins Mizzou football’s 2024 class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four-star wide receiver James Madison, originally from Kansas City, is coming back to Missouri as apart of Mizzou football's 2024 class.

With Madison's Fourth of July commitment, that marks three different prospects from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale that are now headed to MU in next year's class.

During his junior season, Madison had 19 receptions for 407 yards and six touchdowns, while helping St. Thomas Aquinas to a 14-0 record and a state title.

Madison had other offers from Alabama, Louisville, Auburn, Oregon, Michigan, Georgia and more.

His high school teammates, four-star linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez and three-star defensive lineman Justin Bodford also committed to MU this week.

This marks 10 total commits for the class of 2024 and six in the last five days. The second commitment of the day came in four-star defensive back Cameron Keys.
