Renegades fall to Bombers for third time this season

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Renegades couldn't get things done at home against the Sedalia Bombers Thursday falling 11-6. Sedalia has won three of the four matchups so far this season.

Sedalia got off to a big start with a grand slam in the second inning from Nic Beech. JC responded in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot from Eli Hill.

Sedalia's four-run sixth inning provided the difference, despite the Renegades putting a four-run inning of their own together in the seventh.

The Renegades now sit at 4-7 on the season. Up next, the group will host the Des Moines Prospects for a double header Friday evening starting at 5 p.m.
