Kaleb Brown announces return to Mizzou after entering transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou guard Kaleb Brown announced that he will be staying at Mizzou, after throwing his name into the transfer portal in mid-April.

Brown spent the majority of his sophomore season fighting for a spot in the starting rotation. There was a seven-game span where he saw decent minutes, but saw limited minutes once SEC play began. He averaged 7.8 points per game through the 2022-23 season.

His best game of the season came against SIUE, when he had a season-high 14 minutes, along with four points.

Brown's bother, standout Kobe Brown, spent all four of his college seasons in Columbia, earning him the title of one of the 'truest of true sons.' Kobe Brown shut the door on his college career following his senior season, as he is in the 2023 NBA Draft.
