Tolton punches ticket to state Final Four

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Tolton girls soccer team officially has two more games standing between it and the program's first-ever state championship. The Trailblazers topped Laquey, 4-0, in the state quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.

With the win, Tolton will head to St. Louis for Final Four action at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. The semifinals will kick off on Friday, June 2.

Kensie Serio started the scoring off for the Trailblazers in the first half, as the Blazers took a 1-0 lead into halftime. After the break, Marcie Parmer, Adelaide Devine and Madison Taylor all found the back of the net in the four-goal win.

Head coach Chuck Register and company will face the winner off the Barstow/Bishop LeBlond game in the state semifinals.
