Daly earns D1Softball weekly honor following back-to-back walk-offs

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

D1Softball pegged Mizzou third baseman Kara Daly its its Player of the Week, on Tuesday, following her back-to-back walk off home runs against then-No. 12 Arkansas over the weekend.

The Jefferson City native cranked home runs in the final frame of each of MU's wins against the rival Razorbacks. Over those two games, Daly went 3-for-6 at the plate with two home runs, a double, two RBI and three runs scored.

The series win marked Mizzou's first in conference play in 2023, on the final weekend of the regular season. The Tigers will look to make a run in the SEC Tournament, as the team will play in the first game of the action, on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
