Alabama baseball clinches series over Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team fell 10-4 Saturday at Taylor Stadium against Alabama as the Crimson Tide clinches the series victory.

The Tigers struggled to get the bats moving with just six total hits on the day. Hank Zeisler was the teams key offensive power at the plate going three-for-four with a three-run home run in the fifth inning. The other run was brought in by Battle alum Tre Morris.

The Crimson Tide on the other hand had an answer for all four Mizzou pitchers putting up runs in each of the final six innings.

Mizzou falls to 23-15 on the season and 5-12 in the SEC. The series finale will be Sunday at 1 p.m.
