Nine-run third inning powers Texas A&M baseball over Mizzou in game one

COLLEGE STATION, Tx. (KMIZ)

The Texas A&M baseball team put together nine runs in third inning to down Mizzou 13-5 in the first game of the series.

Mizzou started the game up 3-1, but the Aggies powered through three different Tiger pitchers in the third inning. Logan Lunceford started the day on the mound giving up five runs. Daniel Wissler also came in during the third and gave up five more runs. Nic Smith pitched the final six innings allowing three.

At the plate, Hank Zeisler hit his tenth homer of the year to bring in two runs and Luke Mann went two-for-four.

Game two of the series picks up Friday at 6 p.m.
