Mizzou’s Ronnie DeGray III enters portal after year one under Gates

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou men's basketball junior forward Ronnie DeGray III announced Thursday afternoon that he has entered the transfer portal after year one under head coach Dennis Gates.

DeGray is one of just three Tigers that were at MU during the 2021-22 season under Cuonzo Martin and stuck around when Gates took over.

DeGray's numbers took a dive this past season, but his last game played was on Jan. 21 after suffering a season-ending knee injury.

This year, DeGray averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. When healthy, he made his away into Mizzou's starting rotation multiple times.

DeGray enters the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.
