NASHVILLE, Tenn.

The No. 4-seeded Mizzou men's basketball team is headed to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament with a 79-71 win over No. 5-seeded Tennessee on Friday.

D'Moi Hodge, Kobe Brown and DeAndre Gholston all hit double-digit scoring in the win. Hodge led the team with 26 points along with one steal. Brown was right behind him with 24 points and nine rebounds.

MU will meet No. 1-seeded Alabama in the semifinals at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, March 11. Head coach Dennis Gates and company met the Crimson Tide once in the 2022-23 season. Alabama came out on top 85-64 at Mizzou Arena.

Mizzou will look to win its first conference championship since it took down Baylor in 2012 to win the Big 12 title.
