Mizzou WBB’s fourth quarter blunders ends the SEC tournament with loss to Arkansas

GREENVILLE, Sc. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team put together just 10 points in the fourth quarter to end play in the SEC tournament with a 85-74 loss to Arkansas.

MU led the game going into the final quarter of the play, but a 16-0 Razorback run ended the year for the Tigers.

Mizzou was led by Lauren Hansen with 19 points, four rebounds and four steals. Hayley Frank and Sara Rose-Smith also finished the game with double-digit scoring, Frank with 14 points and Rose-Smith with 13 points and six rebounds. As a team, MU shot over 52% from the three point line and 45% from the field.

Arkansas was led by a career day from Chrissy Carr with 34 points along with 19 points from Samara Spencer and 17 from Makayla Daniels.

With the loss, the Tigers are 17-13 and 6-11 in SEC play, losing to Arkansas three times this season. The loss marks the tenth straight time the Razorbacks women's team has beat MU.
