Mizzou WBB falls in regular season finale

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team lost to Florida, 61-52, in the final game of the regular season on Sunday. The loss dropped MU to 17-12 overall this season and 6-10 in conference action.

In addition to it being the regular season finale, it was also senior day at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers honored their lone senior, graduate student Haley Troup, before the game. She finished her last game at home with seven points and eight rebounds, along with three assists.

Hayley Frank led the team with 16 points and Lauren Hansen was right behind her with 12. Outside of Troup, Frank and Hansen, no Tiger recorded more than five points in the game, shooting just 33 percent from the field.
