Columbia College punches ticket to AMC Championship with win over William Woods

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College men's basketball team put up a monster second half to in a 76-60 win over William Woods on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars outscored the Owls 53-30 after halftime.

Senior Tony Burks led the offensive attack for CC. He finished with a game-high 32 points, along with three assists and six rebounds.

Collin Parker and Brock Davis were the only two other Cougars to hit double-digit scoring, with 10 and 11 points, respectively.

Up next - Columbia College will play for an AMC Championship on Tuesday night. The opponent has not been determined yet.
