Mizzou women’s basketball takes road loss at Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. (KMIZ)

Despite a big night from Lauren Hansen, the Mizzou women's basketball team couldn't get things done on the road falling to Ole Miss 72-64 Thursday night.

Hansen had a team-high 26 points in the loss followed by Hayley Frank with 14. The Tigers trailed at the half, but a big third quarter with 27 points kept them in it.

As a team, MU shot 44% from the field and over 47% from three. The Rebels dominated the boards 35-26.

With the loss, Mizzou is now 17-11 on the season and 6-9 in SEC play.

The final regular season game for MU will be at Mizzou Arena Sunday against Florida at 2 p.m.
