No. 10 Mizzou wrestling dominates Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KMIZ)

The No. 10 Mizzou wrestling team took care of business on Friday night with a dominant 36-9 win over Air Force in Colorado Springs.

Starting in the 125 class, Noah Surtin put the Tigers on top by five points early, earning a technical fall in the opening dual. After that, Mizzou held a shutout all the way until the 197 class, before Jesse Cassatt lost in a close decision.

Both Father Tolton alums came up with wins on Friday. Brock Mauller won in a 15-4 major decision, while Jarrett Jacques earned a 6-1 decision win in the 157 class.

Next up - Mizzou will continue its road trip with a stop in Laramie, Wyoming to meet the Cowboys on Saturday at 6 p.m.
