No. 20 Mizzou can’t make comeback happen at Texas A&M

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No. 20 Mizzou men's basketball couldn't find its rhythm Wednesday night in College Station falling to Texas A&M 82-64.

The Tigers got off to a rough start giving up a 21-2 run to the Aggies to go into the half down 43-25.

The Mizzou defense stepped up in the second half forcing 18 total turnovers and cutting the lead down to three, but couldn't complete the comeback.

Kobe Brown led MU with 12 points and five rebounds. D'Moi Hodge and DeAndre Gholston both added 10 with Hodge added a team-high six rebounds and two steals as well as scoring his 1,000th career point.

Mizzou ended the game shooting 7-of-31 from the three-point line for 28.6%. The Tigers were outrebounded 42-25.

Mizzou is now 13-3 on the season and 2-2 in SEC play.

Up next - Mizzou's road trip continues as the team heads to Gainesville to take on Florida Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
