Brady Cook undergoes shoulder surgery, will miss spring football
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou football team announced that quarterback Brady Cook underwent right shoulder surgery on Thursday morning and, as a result, will miss all of spring football.
The team added that his surgery, to repair a torn labrum, was successful. He was inured during the Kansas State game in week two, but played through the rest of the season.
With Cook out for spring ball, true freshman Sam Horn will be the only scholarship quarterback available to head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
Cook is expected to be ready to go for the start of fall camp.
The QB finished the 2022 season with 14 touchdowns, 2,724 yards passing, 585 yards on the ground and seven interceptions.
