Mizzou wrestling gets second conference win

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 10-ranked Mizzou wrestling team took down No. 15-ranked North Dakota State, 28-11, Tuesday night at the Hearnes Center.

The Tigers got on top early as redshirt senior Allan Hart recording a fall in 26 seconds.

The opening dual was followed by three-straight decisions, including an overtime loss for senior Jarrett Jacques.  

Reigning national champion, sophomore Keegan O'Toole moved to 8-0 on the season with a 15-8 decision. Plus, junior Peyton Mocco had the team's only pin of the day in the 174 match.  

Colton Hawks' major decision made it a 22-2 lead for Mizzou

Although the Tigers failed to score points in the last two matches, the Elam brothers collected a pair of decisions en route to a 28-11 victory. 

Up next - Mizzou heads to Chattanooga on New Year's Day to compete in the Southern Scuffle at McKenzie Arena.
