Mizzou’s QB coach, Bush Hamdan, becomes offensive coordinator at Boise State

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou's quarterbacks coach Bush Hamdan was named the offensive coordinator at Boise State Wednesday after spending the past three seasons with the Tigers.

Hamdan is a former Boise State quarterback and will return to the Treasure Valley with 14 years of coaching experience.

In 2020 and 2021, Hamdan coached the Tiger receivers and quarterbacks. His receivers totaled 3,259 total yards, 271.6 yards per game and 25 scores in 2020.

Before that, Hamdan was the University of Washington's offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach in 2018-19. The Huskies won the Pac-12 in 2018 and quarterback Jacob Eason was a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Hamdan also spent a year as the quarterbacks coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Ryan threw for over 4,000 yards and the Falcons reached the divisional round of the 2017 NFC playoffs.
